Recognition of Prior learning

Do you already have some relevant experience in the field in which you plan to study? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that assesses this experience, which may have been acquired through formal or informal learning such as previous studies, workplace or life experience, and determines if it  can be formally recognized towards a vocational qualification.

You may apply for RPL at the time of enrolment or by the time your course commences by submitting the relevant supporting documents.

Note that for international students applying for a student visa, if RPL is approved after your visa is granted, it will mean early completion of your qualification and appropriate adjustments will be made to your eCoE. This may result in your study duration and student visa being shortened.

Credit Transfer

If you have studied other qualifications within the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and hold a statement of attainment for any unit of study relevant to the qualification into which you are enrolling, you may qualify for Credit Transfer (CT).

You may apply for Credit Transfer at the time of enrolment or by the time your studies commence by submitting the relevant supporting documents.

Note that for international students applying for a student visa, a Credit Transfer approved after your visa is granted will mean early completion of the qualification and appropriate adjustments will be made to your eCoE. This may result in your study duration and student visa being shortened.
