We are moving!

15 May ELC News

After 20 years at our beloved campus on Kent St, it is time for ELC to move. The area is due to undergo development, with a major demolition and the construction of a 20-storey hotel to be built over the next 2 years right next to ELC. The noise level is expected to be very high for an extended period of time, and it has become clear that the best course of action for our students’ learning and overall experience with ELC, is to move to a new campus.

From Monday 2nd June, ELC will be operating
out of our new campus at 10 Quay Street.

The new premises are bright and modern and occupy the top 2 floors of a 5-storey building. The size of the campus is almost the same as our current one at 1402 sqm, with 20 large and bright, fully equipped, modern classrooms, a computer lab, 2 student kitchens and 2 student common rooms.
We are excited to be able to offer our students a new campus that matches the quality of our education and services.

The location is perfect.Just a 4-minute walk from Central station, Sydney’s No1 train, metro and bus hub. This will make it easy and fast for everyone coming from any parts of Sydney to get to school each day. And an added bonus to our students staying at the ELC Premium Apartments at Scape Quay St: our new campus is literally just across the road!

📍 To help you find your way from Central Station to the new campus, we’ve prepared a handy guide:
Getting to ELC

Our team is working hard to make sure the transition to the new campus is seamless for all students:

  • For any current students, our Academic and Student Services teams will manage the communication about this transition today, making sure all students know where to go and which classroom they are moving to. No action is required on your part.
  • For enrolled students due to start later in the year, your ELC representative will get in touch with revised welcome letters in the coming weeks, prioritising students due to start in June, July and August. We thank you for your understanding and patience as our team works through this process.
  • · For prospective new students, our marketing team is hard at work, preparing a brand new website as well as adjusting our brochure and flyers. We are currently putting the finishing touches to the interior designs of the new campus and will then organise new photos and videos to showcase our new premises. For now, be assured that the learning environment will be just as nice as it currently is, just in a new location.
