When I first came to Australia I couldn’t understand or speak English. I have made a lot of improvement here at ELC and the Academic English course I am currently doing has really helped me improve my formal English and business vocabulary. I have one year left at university and this course will really help me with my university course as it focuses a lot not just on communication skills but also areas like report writing, essay writing and presentations. I’m really enjoying my course!
Jessica, my teacher, makes our lessons very interesting. She always marks the extra writing work I do and takes the time to give me feedback and extra support, even though I know she is very busy!
There are students from so many different nationalities so I have the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, which is very interesting to me. I love the school excursions that help enjoy our life here. I really recommend this school to someone coming to Australia to study English!
