Services for Junior Students

At ELC, we know that our teenage students need to receive a maximum of individual attention, care and support. We put everything in place to ensure that they each receive the services they need as part of their booking, as well as make provision for extra support in case they need it during their stay.

What services will my child receive?

The core program inclusions depend on the package you choose for your child’s enrolment, as per this overview:

Package A - Learner

Classes only, with a finish time at 2pm each day: Ideal for students travelling with their parents and who will do sightseeing as a family in the afternoons

Package B - Explorer

Join our program from 8:30 to 5pm Monday to Friday, with both classes and afternoon activities included: ideal for students who are staying with relatives in Sydney

Package C - Explorer+

Our most popular package! This is a slight upgrade from package B, with exciting activities on Saturdays: also ideal for students who are staying with relatives in Sydney, and who want to explore more of Sydney as part of the program

Package D – Globetrotter

All of the essentials for a solo traveller! If you are travelling to Sydney by yourself and do not have relatives here, ELC can organise everything you need, from your arrival at the Sydney airport to your flight back.

Optional Extras

In addition to the choice of package, there are optional extra services you can book: all students aged 14-17 may choose to book an amazing trip outside of Sydney on the Sunday. Package D – Globetrotter students may book lunch packs or extra assistance upon airport drop off.

Safety and support
at school and on activities
for all students

Safe city: According to the Economist’s Intelligence Unit (EIU)’s safe cities index 2024, Sydney ranks 5th safest major city worldwide and 1st in Australia.
Excellent ELC location: ELC is located right in the city centre, in a well renowned area, very close to public transport.
Working with Children clearance: All ELC staff, teachers and leaders that juniors will deal with hold a Working With Children Clearance.
Group leaders on all activities: An ELC group leader will accompany all students on their afternoon activities, with a maximum ratio of 1 leader per 15 students.

Further support for our students enrolled in
Package D – Globetrotter

Guardianship service: In addition to the services that the ELC team provides to all students throughout the program, students enrolled in our Globetrotter package also benefit from the services of an appointed local guardian. This service means that each student will have a dedicated support person. Their guardian may act as a mediator in case any issues arises and in case of medical emergency.
24/7 emergency contact: In case of emergency, an experienced ELC staff or their appointed local guardian will assist students, 24/7, from the moment they land to the moment they depart Sydney.
Airport transfer both ways: Our full package includes return airport transfer. For students who require extra support or who are flying as “Unaccompanied Minor”, our driver can handle the documentation required at the airport upon pick up and return as part of our optional assisted or custom drop off services.
