The ELC apartment features

The two apartments each feature 6 large ensuite single bedrooms and a large lounge and kitchen area for the 6 ELC students to share. It is bright, modern, fully furnished and equipped. The lounge, kitchen and dining area is air-conditioned and features natural light and fresh air from large windows. Students cook for themselves or share with their flatmates.

The residence welcomes both Australian and international students from all over the world. Most of them study at university.

The residence organises a community engagement program with various activities every week. By joining these, students will discover Sydney, engage in community projects and socialize and make friends with other students from the residence.

2025 – 2026 Fees

Placement fee: $395

Weekly fee 2025: $770/w

Low season special (May-August 2025): $695/w

Weekly fee 2026: $825/w

Low season special (May-August 2026): $745/w

Bond or security deposit:

Note that a security deposit or bond will be required upon arrival. The exact amount depend on the length of stays as follows for 2025:

1-22 weeks: $500 security deposit

23+ weeks: $2,620 bond

  • There is a minimum stay of 10 weeks. (contact us with exact dates for shorter stays).
  • Upon arrival, you will need to sign a copy of the residence rules, view the summary.
  • A credit card charge will be made for a security deposit or bond upon check-in. The exact amount will depend on the length of stay: $500 security deposit for stays of up to 22 weeks; $2,620 bond for stays of 23 weeks or longer. A refund will be processed after checkout minus any fees for damages to the property. Students should expect bank charges to apply for both transactions.
