General English classes focus on improving all aspects of your English and in particular your communication skills, fluency and confidence.

Lessons are fun, lively and the emphasis is on helping students develop their oral communication skills. Social, cultural and sports activities are offered every afternoon on week days so that students discover Sydney, learn the Australian culture, practise English and have fun!

Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is the best preparation for students wishing to study in English at an Australian university or college. The course blends IELTS preparation and important academic skills. Whether you want to gain entry to your course via one of ELC’s direct entry agreements or by taking the IELTS examination, this program will ensure you are ready to succeed.

This course prepares students for their IELTS examination as well as improving language and skills for academic study. Your improvement in reading, listening, writing and speaking skills as well as your improved range and accuracy of grammar and vocabulary will be reflected in your exam results.
