By enrolling into any intensive daytime English program at ELC, you will have access to up to 27 hours of tuition per week, as well as a range of optional social activities and excursions after class and on the weekends.

In addition this, joining our English Plus Discovery package means that you will get to enjoy visits to 4 must-see attractions in Sydney, and join 4 day trips outside of Sydney on the weekends!

WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo

ELC will organise your entry ticket to Sydney Wildlife Zoo, just a 10-min walk from school. You will get up close with Australia’s unique wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, and crocodiles.

Sydney Tower Eye

Get the best 360 degree views of Sydney from Sydney Tower in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect way to get your bearings and an understanding of Sydney harbour’s natural beauty!

Sydney Aquarium SEA LIFE

This aquarium at Darling Harbour will take your breath away as you take an underwater journey featuring sharks, penguins, dugongs, tropical reef fish and more!

Sydney Opera House tour

It might be the best photo spot in town but you’ll go beyond the famous sails of the Opera House and take a guided tour inside. Learn about its history, architecture and discover incredible spaces and stories.

Port Stephens

Port Stephens (Nelson’s Bay) is an absolute favourite! During your full-day trip there, you will enjoy a 4WD ride on the beach, sandboard down sand dunes, and join a dolphin-watching cruise! Blue Mountains

When do the Sydney visits take place?

You can visit the Sydney attractions in your own time, either after class at the end of the day or on your free days on the weekend.

What if one of the Sydney visits is already part of ELC’s regular social activity schedule during my stay?

In this case you will be able to join the group visit. Your ticket will be paid for and our team can recommend the next best Sydney attractions to visit in your own time.

When do the trips outside of Sydney take place?

These trips run on set days on the weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

If you are enrolling in 5 weeks tuition or longer, we will make sure to book you onto one trip per weekend on 4 different weekends, allowing one free day to relax each weekend.
If you are enrolling in only 4 weeks tuition, one weekend will include 2 trips, leaving your departure weekend free for your return flight arrangements.

Are the day trips outside of Sydney guided?

Yes, Colourful Trips’ drivers and expert tour guides will drive you to all these places by coach and will guide you all along the trip with tips and commentary and will facilitate all your activities entries while you lay back, discover and enjoy the diverse landscapes of New South Wales.
